Goals of the Junior Golf Program

To provide Beaver Dam area Junior Golfers with a Summer program focused on learning and enjoying the game of golf.

Instructors

The Junior Golf Staff consist of a staff of collegiate golfers, accomplished amateurs and teachers of the game of golf.

Classes

Ages 6-9
8:00 - 8:50

Ages 10-12
9:00 - 9:50

Ages 13+
10:00 - 10:50

Program Fees

This fee includes 8 Instruction Sessions, 3 play days, Year-End Tournament & Banquet, Personalized Junior Golf Hat, Old Hickory Logo Balls, Rules Book, Mini Sharpie, and Special Events with Prizes.

Play Day Special

A junior from this program, may play Old Hickory with a parent on either Monday or Wednesday nights after 6:00 pm for $15 per player.
(Price includes golf cart! This special will run June 10th thru August 11th.)

Attendance

Please do not feel obligated to call if your junior cannot make a session. We understand that summers are busy and don’t expect perfect attendance.

Bad Weather Days

Due to the short season and full schedule, we will be unable to reschedule any canceled sessions.

The OHCC Golf Shop will be stocking junior golf equipment, including golf clubs, bags, gloves, golf balls, clothing, etc. We believe in the growth of the game, golf equipment is important to the game and we strive to keep the pricing and markups minimal. The shop staff will be available to help fit junior golfers.

Successful Juniors

Many of the juniors have developed into successful and accomplished junior players. Dan Woltman became the 2003 Wisconsin Junior Player of the Year, many have triumphant high school tenures (WIAA), some have had memorable national junior tournaments (AJGA, etc.), and state tourneys (WPGA) and students have moved on and competed in all division levels of the NCAA.
